.RCB has a free and fun way for kids to learn about saving, budgeting, and spending money. Children are fascinated by money, and one way we can help them be successful is to teach them how to manage it.
.We present fun activities that are part of a national program called Teach Children to Save (TCTS), sponsored by the American Bankers Association Community Engagement Foundation. This ABA program organizes bank volunteers to help young people develop a savings habit early in life and provides the resources and materials for the lessons.
.All courses are customized for grades K-12 and are taught by RCB employees. Classes are available to any civic organization, including schools – as enrichment or extracurricular, church groups, and Boy Scout or Girl Scout Troops.
.Here’s what people say about TCTS:
“The students loved having Reading Cooperative Bank come into the classrooms and they really appreciated and enjoyed the coloring books and crayons.”
~ Shawsheen School, Assistant Principal, Lisa King
.“These simple financial lessons go a long way in providing kids with the tools and the know-how to manage their money properly. This program ties in well with everything we talk about here at RCB, and I am glad that I had the chance to participate in it.”
~ RCB Woburn Branch Manager, Danny Walbourne
