With two new locations opened, Reading Co-operative Bank is excited to meet the financial needs of the residents of Woburn, and the students and faculty of the Reading Memorial High School.
Reading Co-operative Bank opens its newest office at 300 TradeCenter, Route 128, in Woburn.
This is the sixth office opened by the Bank. Reading Cooperative Bank was recently awarded the Superior 5-Star Exceptional Performance Award by Bauer Financial, Inc , the strongest award granted by this group based on the Bank’s strong, safe and profitable performance.The full service office offers both consumer and commercial services to its banking customers. The lobby maximizes the customer experience; providing high tech personal service, full technology access in a green environment. Two ATMs are available at this location, one in the Bank’s lobby and the other in the parking garage adjacent to the new Middlesex County courthouse entrance.
President and CEO Julieann M. Reading Co-Operative Bank Is Set To Open A New “Learning Branch” At Reading Memorial High School
The Bank recently opened a Branch office at the Reading Memorial High School on the first floor of the newly remodeled high school.This School Branch is being used as an educational facility for students enrolled in the basic principles and practices of banking who will actually participate in a true banking environment and follow courses offered through the Business Development department. The Branch operates as a full service bank with services open to the educational community of RMHS including, but not limited to, the student body and all staff and visitors of RMHS. No ATM has been installed, but Online Banking tools will be encouraged at the Computer Cafe’ area. Branch hours will coincide with School hours and the Branch will not be open during school vacation periods or holidays.

The more students know about how to save and manage their money, the more likely they are to make good financial decisions that will positively impact their future. RMHS Principal Joe Finigan stated: “There are a wide range of skills and attitudes we hope to prepare our students with as they graduate from RMHS, critical among them is a strong understanding of financial literacy. Time and time again, we read in the national press of young people being very book smart, but really unprepared to live in a changing world with regard to finance and good personal wealth habits. The Reading Co-operative Bank RMHS Branch will allow us to provide coursework to support the fiscal health of all of our young people”.
